Incoming 7th & 8th Graders 2024-2025
Dear Pioneer Families,
We are so excited to welcome you back to the 2024-2025 school year! We hope that you had a restful summer break full of fun and time with family and friends. Below you will find some important information to help you and your student prepare for the start of a successful school year.
Here are some important dates to be aware of that are coming up in the month of August:

This year, we will be holding registration day on TUESDAY, August 13, 2024. All students should plan on attending registration day with their parent/guardian.

After August 1st parents will need to log in to their Aeries Parent Portal to complete the Data Confirmation Process to receive your student’s class schedule on Registration/Schedule Pick Up Day.
Please print out and bring the signed Student Emergency Card with you on Registration Day.
Items that will need to be completed and signed on your Parent Portal prior to August 13th include:
● Emergency Card ● Student Acceptable Use Agreement ● UUSD Student Residency Questionnaire ● Google Apps Student Permission Slip ● Physical Education Handbook ● Health Food/Bee Allergy Form (If applicable) ● History of Seizure Disorder Form (If applicable)
On Registration Day you will:
● Take your 2024-2025 Fall/Yearbook Pictures

Receive your Student ID card

Turn in your Student Emergency card from your Aeries Parent Portal

Turn in current Tdap immunization (if not previously turned in)

Pick up Preliminary Class Schedule and Student Planner

Volunteer Form and PTSA membership (optional)

Purchase PE clothes and Yearbook (cash or check ONLY)

A book vendor will be on campus if you would like to purchase your own copy of the English reading books (copies to borrow are available from the English teachers)

Check out textbooks
Please note that class schedules will not be available earlier than the assigned time and there will not be a make-up registration day. Also, everyone will receive an official class schedule in their homeroom on the first day of school. For your convenience, homeroom lists will be posted in front of the office at 7:30 on the first day of school.
